Hey All,
So I’m a 2nd Yr International Studies student and in this course I am trying to focus on the foreign affairs sector, predominantly Asia. I have studied Indonesian for 8 years now and hope to complete an internship there next year,I have also done a semester of Chinese at RMIT and can’t wait to go there!
Before moving to the city at the start of 2010 to begin uni, I lived my whole life in a very small country town in north-central Victoria called Rochester. I still call it home during summer and other uni breaks. My parents, two younger brothers and my younger sister still live there. Previously I have been on a youth exchange to Germany and Austria and I have also holidayed in NZ! I am very excited to be broadening my overseas experiences!
Whilst over there I can’t wait to immerse myself in this fascinating culture, learn about the history and travel around the country, of course the very populated cities of Beijing and Shanghai are top of the list but I would also love to get out to some rural areas and villages! Some sites such as the Great Wall, Forbidden City and historical Pingyao are a must for me as is the natural scenery!
Here is a token shot in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with a friend, one from camping over Easter time with family & a family snap from a wedding on the river in my town! I’ll upload some more soon!
Zaijian :)
